Tates Creek (6-3) at Lafayette (7-7) 

Tates Creek coach Joe Pat Covington started the following lineup:  6-6 Jr. Michael Cross, 6-2 Sr. Brad Schueler, 6-2 Sr. Josh Stigall, 6-2 So. Justin Taylor, and 6-0 Sr. Bobby McCoy.   Lafayette coach Don Adkins countered with 6-4 Jr. Kevin Grantlin, 6-1 Sr. Brandon Riley, 6-7 So. Darnell Dials, 6-1 Jr. Gene Cotton, and 6-0 So. Marcus Barron.

Lafayette outscored Tates Creek 19-8 in the third quarter on their way to a 65-57 victory.  Lafayette connected on 23 of 32 from the free throw line and only committed 14 fouls while Tates Creek was charged with 26 fouls and was only four of eleven from the free throw line.  Tates Creek was only five of thirty from the three point line. Lafayette was led today by Kevin Grantlin with 20 points and 10 rebounds.  Brandon Riley added 17 points, seven rebounds, and recorded four steals.  Tates Creek was led by Michael Cross with 12 points.  Justin Taylor, 6-4 Sr. Kelvin Butler, and 6-4 Jr. Jonas Adams added nine points, eight points, and eight points respectively.
