Conclusion

Dave Cantrall’s All ‘A’ rankings which appeared in the Lexington Herald-Leader on February 5th had Clinton County firmly entrenched in the number one position.  The Lady Bulldogs won the prestigious Pickerington Tournament in Ohio and came into this tourney on an eleven game winning streak.  They continued on their hot streak this week, utilizing both inside and outside scoring and a stingy defense.  Jackson County’s Sarah Elliott had an excellent tourney and was named tourney MVP.  There were thirteen members of the all-tournament team with the following breakdown:  seven seniors, two juniors, and four sophs.
