Conclusion

This was an excellent tourney and an outstanding week of basketball.  There was some excellent defensive basketball played this week and Hazard utilized strong defensive efforts to claim the title.  This was Hazard’s first boys’ basketball title in 49 years.  Hazard captured state championships in 1932 and 1955.
