Tates Creek (11-5) at Bryan Station (7-7)
Tates Creek coach Jan Ulmer-Hintz started the following lineup: 6-1 Jr. Kristen Pendleton, 5-8 Jr. Shaquita Dowlen, 6-2 Jr. Brittany Pittman, 5-7 Jr. Philneshia Lindsey, and 5-7 Jr. Derrica Morton. Bryan Station coach Jackie Williams countered with 5-9 Jr. Brittney Clark, 5-6 Fr. LaKrista Clark, 6-3 So. Crystal Leach, 5-7 So. Bradli Stinson, and 5-6 So. Carley Blankenship.
Tates Creek took a 33-27 decision over Bryan Station in a low scoring but intense city battle. Bryan Station led 11-7 at the end of the first quarter but Tates Creek outscored the Lady Defenders 12-5 in the second quarter to take a 19-16 halftime lead. Bryan Station took a 24-21 lead in the third quarter but Tates Creek scored the last four points of the period to take a 25-24 lead after three quarters. Bryan Station briefly edged ahead 26-25 in the final quarter but Tates Creek made the final rally to capture the 33-27 victory.
The Lady Commodores were led by Philneshia Lindsey with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Brittany Pittman only scored two points but she pulled down 19 rebounds and blocked five shots. Kristen Pendleton also scored two points but she pulled down eight rebounds and recorded three assists on some nice interior passes. Crystal Leach and LaKrista Clark led Bryan Station with six and five points respectively.
