Tates Creek (12-4) at Henry Clay (9-5) 

Tates Creek coach Joe Pat Covington started the following lineup:  6-3 Sr. Tyson Dixon, 6-3 Sr. Justin Taylor, 6-5 Sr. Dwight Harris, 6-2 Sr. Cameron Cross, and 5-10 Sr. Jeremy Brown.  Henry Clay coach Kirk Chiles countered with 6-0 Jr. Bryan Turnage, 6-0 Sr. Chase Mitchell, 5-10 Sr. Brandon Coles, 5-8 Jr. Noade Day, and 5-10 Jr. Jarrod Gay

Tates Creek led 27-22 but broke open the game with a 24-11 scoring margin in the third quarter on their way to a 71-61 victory over Henry Clay.   Henry Clay cut the deficit to 9, 69-60 in the final quarter but could not catch up to the victorious Commodores.  Tates Creek shot 53.3% from the field, connected on 21 of 34 free throws, and pulled down 37 rebounds.  Henry Clay shot 36.8% from the field, shot less than 50% (12 of 30) from the free throw line, and pulled down 34 rebounds.  Tates Creek outscored Henry Clay 21-12 from the free throw line but Henry Clay held a 21-6 advantage in three point points. 

The victors were led tonight by Justin Taylor with 17 points.  Tyson Dixon had a big evening with 13 points, 16 rebounds, and five steals.  Jeremy Brown, Cameron Cross, and 6-4 So. Patrick Workman chipped in with 12, 11, and 11 points respectively.  Noade Day led Henry Clay with 19 points, all in the second half.  Day was five of nine from the three point line.  , Bryan Turnage added 12 points and six rebounds.  6-3 Sr. Aubrey White recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Brandon Coles chipped in with 10 points.
