Paul Dunbar (10-6) at Henry Clay (15-1)

Paul Dunbar coach Eddie Oakley started the following lineup:  6-0 Sr. Dustin Fox, 5-10 Sr. Leonard Epps, 6-1 Sr. Andre Tunstill, 5-10 Fr. Dion Johnson, and 5-9 Sr. Jessie Moton.  Henry Clay coach Kirk Chiles countered with 6-0 Sr. Bryan Turnage, 6-3 Fr. Aaron Boyd, 6-2 Jr. Aaron Miller, 5-9 Sr. Noade Day, and 6-2 Jr. Aaron Dunaway.

Henry Clay avenged their only loss of the season (a 66-64 defeat at Dunbar on December 3rd) with a 65-57 overtime victory over Paul Dunbar.  Dunbar had a chance to win in regulation but missed two shots in the closing seconds.  Dunbar led 48-44 entering the final quarter but Bryan Turnage, who was held scoreless for the first 28 minutes, scored eight points in the final four minutes of regulation to help force overtime.  The score was tied 55-55 at the end of regulation but Henry Clay scored the first 10 points in the overtime period to settle the issue.

Henry Clay shot 49.1% from the field, connected on 10 of 14 free throws, and pulled down 32 rebounds.  The Blue Devils scored 22 points off 16 Dunbar turnovers.  Paul Dunbar shot 35.1% from the field, connected on 11 of 15 free throws, and pulled down 37 rebounds.

Aaron Dunaway led the victors tonight with 32 points including three of four from beyond the arc.  Aaron Miller added 15 points and seven rebounds.  Bryan Turnage chipped in with 10 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, three blocked shots, three steals, and was credited with 11 deflections.  Dustin Fox led Dunbar with 15 points and eight rebounds.  Andre Tunstill added 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Jessie Moton chipped in with 10 points.
