Bryan Station (15-8) at Lafayette (16-6)

Bryan Station coach Champ Ligon started the following lineup:  6-3 Jr. Stefan Lewis, 6-2 So. Dacoby Burnett, 6-5 Jr. Jaron Jones, 5-11 Sr. De’ire Foxx, and 6-2 So. Shelvin Mack.  Lafayette coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-3 Sr. Greg Leslie, 5-10 So. Dante Stewart, 6-8 Sr. Tyler Wilkerson, 5-10 So. Tommy Gifford, and 6-1 Sr. Pete Gifford.

Bryan Station only led 55-53 at the end of three quarters but outscored Lafayette 30-15 in the final quarter to earn an 85-68 victory.  Bryan Station scored 25 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers and held a 21-2 advantage in bench scoring. 

Bryan Station shot 49.2% from the field including two of seven from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on 25 of 32 free throws and pulled down 38 rebounds.  Lafayette shot 47.3% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 11 of 19 free throws, grabbed 27 rebounds and scored 16 points off 13 Bryan Station turnovers.

Shelvin Mack led Bryan Station with 21 points, five rebounds, and six assists.  Mack was five of seven from the field and 11 of 13 from the free throw line.  Jaron Jones added 16 points and five rebounds while Stefan Lewis chipped in with 14 points and eight rebounds.  Pete Gifford and Tommy Gifford led Lafayette with 24 and 16 points respectively.  Dante Stewart added 13 points and Tyler Wilkerson chipped in with 11 points, 13 rebounds, and five blocked shots.
