Bryan Station was the team “that couldn’t shoot straight” tonight and their frigid shooting cost them in a 76-62 loss to Scott.  The victorious Cardinals shot 50% from the field, connected on 19 of 29 from the free throw line, and pulled down 43 rebounds.  The Cardinals scored 18 points off 18 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station actually took 31 more shots from the field (83-52) than Scott County but only shot 31.3% including zero for 17 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders only connected on 10 of 20 free throws, and grabbed 48 rebounds.  Scott County committed 28 turnovers, but Bryan Station could only convert for 16 points.

Rodney Haddix led Scott County with 18 points and seven rebounds.  Bud Mackey added 17 points and six rebounds, while 5-10 Sr. Jesse Thompson chipped in with 12 points including three three point baskets.

Shelvin Mack led Bryan Station with 12 points and five rebounds.  Stefan Lewis added 10 points and pulled down eight rebounds.
