Mason County (13-5) vs. Lexington Catholic (15-1)

Mason County coach Paula Buser started the following lineup:  5-7 So. Kasey Litzinger, 5-9 So. De’Sarae Chambers, 5-7 Jr. Torrey Chambers, 5-6 So. Lacey Cline, and 5-5 Sr. Miranda Hales.  Lexington Catholic coach Greg Todd countered with 5-10 So. Natalie Novosel, 5-7 So. Briana Green, 6-0 Sr. Anaris Sickles, 5-7 Jr. Keyla Snowden, and 5-8 Sr. Nikki Davis.

Lexington Catholic led 13-10 in the first quarter but closed out the quarter with a 14-0 run on their way to a 95-56 victory over Mason County.  The Lady Knights scored 43 points off 23 Mason County turnovers and held a 23-0 advantage in bench scoring.

The victors shot 57.8% from the field, connected on 18 of 24 free throws, and pulled down 34 rebounds.  Mason County shot 36.8% from the field, connected on 12 of 13 free throws, and grabbed 33 rebounds.

Nikki Davis led six Lady Knights in double figures with 22 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and four steals.  Anaris Sickles added 17 points and six rebounds while Natalie Novosel chipped in with 13 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and five steals.  Keyla Snowden and 5-11 Jr. Kellie Cash recorded 12 and 10 points respectively, with Snowden adding six steals.  6-0 Fr. Malik Stevenson also reached double figures with 10 points, six rebounds, and five blocked shots.

Lacey Cline led Mason County with 27 points and 17 rebounds.  De’Sarae Chambers and Kasey Litzinger added 13 and 11 points respectively.  Torrey Chambers chipped in with five points and nine rebounds.
