Rose Hill Christian (16-6) vs. Lexington Catholic (20-1)

Rose Hill Christian coach Pam Euton started the following lineup:  6-1 Jr. Emily Queen, 5-8 Sr. Kala Faulkner, 6-1 Jr. Laura Terry, 5-0 Sr. Katy Spradlin, and 5-6 Jr. Britt Faulkner.  Lexington Catholic coach Greg Todd countered with 5-10 So. Natalie Novosel, 5-7 So. Briana Green, 6-0 Sr. Anaris Sickles, 5-7 Jr. Keyla Snowden, and 5-8 Sr. Nikki Davis.

Lexington Catholic outscored Rose Hill 26-10 in the fourth quarter to break open the game and take an 84-54 victory over the visiting Lady Royals.  Turnovers were the downfall for Rose Hill as Lexington Catholic scored 35 points off 33 Lady Royal turnovers.

Lexington Catholic shot 41.5% from the field including seven of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 23 of 26 free throws and pulled down 35 rebounds.  Rose Hill Christian shot 43.4% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Royals connected on five of nine free throws and grabbed 38 rebounds.

Anaris Sickles led Lexington Catholic with 20 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Keyla Snowden added 18 points, six assists, and seven steals.  Nikki Davis had her normal “full” statline as she recorded 16 points, five rebounds, nine assists, and four steals.  Natalie Novosel also reached double figures with 10 points.

Emily Queen led Rose Hill Christian with 17 points and 18 rebounds.  Laura Terry added 12 points and six rebounds.  Kala Faulkner chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds, and six assists.
