Bryan Station (3-0) at Henry Clay (2-1)

Bryan Station coach Champ Ligon started the following lineup:  6-3 Sr. Stefan Lewis, 6-1 Sr. Courtney Embry, 6-5 Sr. Jaron Jones, 5-7 Sr. Dorian Cloyd, and 6-2 Jr. Shelvin Mack.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-5 Jr. Aaron Boyd, 5-11 Fr. Ge-lawn Guyn, 6-6 Jr. Victor Moses, 6-1 Sr. Chase Minnifield, and 6-0 Sr. Travis Bowman.

Bryan Station utilized their stifling defensive pressure to defeat Henry Clay 75-59.  Bryan Station took a 44-33 lead early in the third quarter but Henry Clay went on a 10-0 run to pull within one, 44-43, midway through the quarter.  The Blue Devils were never able to take the lead and Bryan Station closed the game with a 17-6 run to widen the final victory margin. 

Bryan Station shot 39.4% from the field including four of 21 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 19 of 27 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 29 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 41.5% from the field including zero of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on five of nine free throws, grabbed 47 rebounds and scored 19 points off 17 Bryan Station turnovers.  Henry Clay held a 27-14 advantage in second chance points. 

Shelvin Mack led Bryan Station with 25 points, six rebounds, and four steals.  Stefan Lewis added 19 points and six rebounds.  Jaron Jones recorded 17 points, nine rebounds, and four steals.  Victor Moses led Henry Clay with 22 points and 17 rebounds.  Aaron Boyd added 18 points and nine rebounds.  Travis Bowman was hampered by foul problems tonight as he only recorded 14:20 of playing time before fouling out.
