Lexington Catholic coach Jeff Hans started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Natalie Novosel, 5-9 So. Maggie Wilson, 6-0 Sr. Kellie Cash, 5-8 Jr. Briana Green, and 5-7 Sr. Keyla Snowden.  Lafayette coach Allison Tate Denton countered with 5-8 Sr. Janel Wilkerson, 5-9 Jr. Corin Dunn, 6-0 Jr. Katie Aldrich, 5-6 Sr. Cassandra Lawson, and 5-5 So. Maya Hanatini.

Coach Hans captured his first victory as head coach at Lexington Catholic with a 76-39 victory over Lafayette.  The key to the game was turnovers as Lexington Catholic scored 52 points off 35 Lafayette turnovers.  The victors recorded 23 steals for the game.  The second and third quarters were decisive as Lexington Catholic held a 55-21 advantage during these two periods.

Lexington Catholic shot 50.9% from the field including eight of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and hald a 24-0 advantage on three point points.  Lafayette shot 39.1% from the field, connected on three of five free throws, and grabbed 33 rebounds.  Lafayette held a 21-10 advantage in bench scoring.

Keyla Snowden led Lexington Catholic with 21 points including five three point baskets.  Snowden dished out seven assists and recorded five steals.  Maggie Wilson, Briana Green, and Natalie Novosel added 13, 12, and 12 points respectively.

5-9 Jr. Kennae Demus led Lafayette with 14 points and eight rebounds.  Cassandra Lawson added nine points and recorded three steals.  Corin Dunn recorded four points and eight rebounds.
