Paris (0-0) vs. Henry Clay (0-1)

Paris coach Terence Brooks started the following lineup:  5-7 Jr. Jannette Pacas, 5-8 Jr. Gabrielle Brooks, 6-1 Jr. Lauren Forsythe, 5-6 Jr. Sasha Davis, and 5-8 Jr. Nakita Jones.  Henry Clay coach Scott Cromwell countered with 5-7 Sr. Tabnie Dozier, 5-11 So. Brittany Coles, 5-6 Jr. Raven Price, 5-5 Jr. Demetria Nichols, and 5-7 Jr. Hannah Blakenship.

Henry Clay easily defeated Paris 59-29 to earn their first victory of the season.  The Lady Blue Devils led 27-13 at halftime and outscored Paris 18-2 in the third quarter to take a commanding 45-15 lead after three quarters.  Henry Clay shot 48% from the field and connected on nine of 15 free throws.  Paris was cold from the field and the line tonight as they shot under 25% from the field and only connected on nine of 24 free throws.

Tabnie Dozier and Hannah Blakenship led the victors with 17 and 14 points respectively.  Brittany Coles and 6-1 So. Annalee Abell added six points each.

5-9 So. Emily Hinkson came off the bench to lead Paris with 10 points.  Jannette Pacas and Nakita Jones added six and five points respectively.
