Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup:  6-5 Jr. Aaron Boyd, 5-11 Fr. Ge-Lawn Guyn, 6-6 Jr. Victor Moses, 5-11 So. Prince Stewart, and 5-8 Jr. Brian Nichols.  Paul Dunbar coach Carl “Redd” Hutchinson countered with 5-10 So. Nick Hudson, 6-3 Jr. De’Andre Webb, 6-4 Jr. Aaron Klein, 5-9 Jr. Seth Davis, and 5-10 Jr. Dion Johnson.

Paul Dunbar trailed Henry Clay 50-49 entering the final quarter but rallied to earn a 75-64 victory.  Henry Clay led 59-58 with 4:51 remaining in the game but Dunbar scored 13 unanswered points to take a 71-59 lead and control of the game.  Henry Clay held a commanding 51-32 advantage in rebounds but turned the ball over 23 times which led to 28 Dunbar ponts.

Dunbar shot 44.4% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on four of six free throws, and held a 21-6 advantage in three point points.  Henry Clay shot 43.5% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on eight of 21 free throws and scored 17 points off 13 Paul Dunbar turnovers.

Nick Hudson led Dunbar tonight with 27 points and five steals.  De’Andre Webb added 15 points, 10 rebounds, and four steals.  Dion Johnson recorded 14 points and seven assists.  Aaron Klein also reached double figures with 12 points and added six rebounds.

Victor Moses led Henry Clay with 20 points, 13 rebounds, and five blocked shots.  6-0 Sr. Travis Bowman added 13 points and six rebounds.  Ge-Lawn Guyn chipped in with 12 points and nine rebounds.  Aaron Boyd also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
