Mercy Academy (11-11) at Sacred Heart Academy (19-4) 

Mercy Academy coach Mark Evans started the following lineup:  5-8 Jr. Amy Wimsatt, 5-7 Fr. Malisa Cruz, 5-8 Fr. Therese Montano, 5-9 Jr. Katie Wiedmar, and 5-9 Fr. Madison Hardy.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-1 Sr. Caroline Klein, 5-11 Sr. Katie Kopple, 6-3 Sr. Elizabeth Campbell, 5-7 Sr. Sarah Askin, and 5-6 Jr. Whitney Ising.

Sacred Heart led 36-35 after three quarters but Mercy outscored the Valkyries 17-9 in the final quarter to earn a 52-45 victory.  The Mercy Jaguars actually managed to outrebound the taller Sacred Heart team 36-34.  Mercy also held a 21-12 advantage in three point points and a 13-5 advantage in free throw points.

Mercy Academy shot 34% from the field including seven of 16 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 13 of 21 free throws, and scored 12 points off 16 Sacred Heart turnovers.  Sacred Heart shot 36% from the field including only four of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on five of seven from the free throw line, and scored nine points off 14 Mercy turnovers.

Malisa Cruz led Mercy Academy with 16 points including four of five from beyond the arc and five rebounds.  5-8 Sr. Shawna Culver added 14 points and seven rebounds.  Therese Montano, Katie Wiedmar, and Madison Hardy chipped in with seven, six, and six points respectively.

Elizabeth Campbell led Sacred Heart with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Caroline Klein added nine points.  Whitney Ising dished out seven assists.
