Villa Maria Coach Scott Dibble started the following lineup:  5-7 Sr. Maura Natale, 5-11 So. Kayla McBride, 5-10 Jr. Chelsea Lasky, 5-5 So. Villa Maria connected on nine three point baskets in a 56-46 victory over Ballard.   Villa Maria shot 62.9% from the field including nine of 16 from the three point line.   The Vickers connected on three of five free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 19 Ballard turnovers.   Ballard shot 41.5% from the field including two of six from beyond the arc.   The Lady Bruins connected on 10 of 12 free throws, grabbed 20 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 20 Villa Maria turnovers.  

Kayla McBride led the victors with 20 points including three three point baskets.  Megan Hoffman added 14 points including four three point baskets.  5-7 Jr. Jess Tarasovitch chipped in with 12 points.  Jade Barber led Ballard with 16 points and eight rebounds.  Larissa Stafford and Amy Lomax added 12 and 10 points respectively.

St. Joseph's outscored Scott County 25-12 in the second quarter on their way to an 86-63 victory.   St. Joseph's shot 45.8% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line.  The Angels connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 13 Scott County turnovers.   Scott County shot 32.9% from the field including seven of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on eight of 13 free throws, grabbed 38 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 St. Joseph's turnovers. 

Patrice King led the victors with 25 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.  Myrtie Reilly added 22 points, 11 rebounds, and seven blocked shots.  Becky Handley chipped in with 11 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and five steals.  Courtney Harris recorded nine points and nine rebounds.  Kayla Moses led Scott County with 35 points including four three point baskets.  Madisen Webb added 14 points and six rebounds.

Hamilton Southeastern dominated the first and fourth quarters by a combined 43-21 score in a 54-40 victory.   Hamilton Southeastern shot 34% from the field including five of 24 from the three point line.   The Royals connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 10 points off eight Jackson County turnovers.   Jackson County shot 42.1% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.   The Lady Generals connected on four of 12 free throws, grabbed 22 rebounds, and scored seven points off 10 Hamilton Southeastern turnovers.   Hamilton Southeastern held an 18-1 advantage in offensive rebounds.  

Paige Smith led the victors with 24 points and 12 rebounds.  Courtney Osborn added 14 points and nine rebounds.  Kelsey Lamb recorded six points, seven rebounds, and six assists.  Kourtney Tyra led Jackson County with 19 points and seven assists.  Amber Whitehead added 11 points and six rebounds.

Marion County scored 35 points off 26 Dayton Dunbar turnovers and shot 55.6% from beyond the arc in an 86-47 victory.   The victors shot 56.3% from the field including 10 of 18 from the three point line.   The Lady Knights connected on four of nine free throws and pulled down 36 rebounds.   Dayton Dunbar shot 41.7% from the field including two of six from beyond the arc.   The Lady Wolverines connected on five of 13 free throws, grabbed 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 Marion County turnovers.  

Tacarra Hayes led Marion County with 18 points, five rebounds, and seven assists.  5-7 Fr. Brooke Roberts added 17 points including five three point baskets.  Kyvin Goodin recorded 14 points and seven rebounds.  Dee Johnson chipped in with 12 points, five rebounds, and six assists.  Kenyona Simmons led Dayton Dunbar with 14 points and nine rebounds.  Kia Watkins added 12 points.  6-1 Sr. Frankie Brown chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.

Paris defeated Villa Maria 45-44 in a double overtime.   Paris's Nakita Jones hit a three point basket with one second remaining to tie the score at 35-35 and force a second overtime.   5-5 Jr. Talaken Myers hit a three point basket at the buzzer to give Paris the victory.  

Paris shot 34% from the field including five of 10 from the three point line.   The Lady Hounds connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored eight points off 17 Villa Maria turnovers.   Villa Maria shot 37.1% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc.   The Vickers connected on 15 of 25 free throws, grabbed 32 rebounds, and scored eight points off 12 Paris turnovers.  

Nakita Jones led Paris with 12 points, six rebounds, and five assists.  Emily Hinkson added 11 points and 11 rebounds.  Janette Pacas and Sasha Davis scored eight points each.  Megan Hoffman led Villa Maria with 15 points including three three point baskets.  Hoffman also recorded 11 rebounds.  Kayla McBride added 14 points, eight rebounds, and three blocked shots.

St. Joseph's Academy scored 30 points off 28 Notre Dame turnovers in a 79-51 victory.   St. Joseph's Academy shot 39.2% from the field including six of 10 from the three point line.   The Angels connected on 13 of 21 free throws and pulled down 34 rebounds.   Notre Dame Academy shot 39.2% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc.   The Pandas connected on five of eight free throws, grabbed 29 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 St. Joseph's Academy turnovers.  

Patrice King and Courtney Harris led the victors with 22 and 20 points respectively.   Ashley Hanlen added 14 points.  Myrtie Reilly chipped in with 10 points and nine rebounds.  Casey Jackson and 5-8 Jr. Kirsten Delph led Notre Dame with 14 points each.

Lexington Catholic outscored Jackson County 23-5 in the final quarter to erase a 44-38 deficit to earn a 61-49 victory.   The score was tied at 49-49 but Lexington Catholic finished the game with a 12-0 run.   Natalie Novosel led the fourth quarter surge with 12 points.  

Lexington Catholic shot 47.8% from the field including three of six from the three point line.   The Lady Knights connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Jackson County turnovers.   Jackson County shot 41.9% from the field including nine of 21 from beyond the arc.   The Lady Blue Devils connected on four of six free throws, grabbed 24 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  

Natalie Novosel led Lexington Catholic with 20 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and five steals.  Briana Green added 10 points, five rebounds, and five assists.  Laken Leonard led Jackson County with 17 points, four rebounds, and six assists.  Emily Bowman also scored 17 points including five three point baskets.

Paul Dunbar outscored Heritage Christian 15-9 in the final quarter to defeate the previously unbeaten Lady Eagles 47-41.   Dunbar shot 31.4% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.   The Lady Bulldogs connected on 11 of 21 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off 22 Heritage Christian turnovers.   Heritage Christian shot 45.7% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc.   The Lady Eagles connected on six of eight free throws, grabbed 32 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 Dunbar turnovers.  

Pilar Walker led the victors with 16 points and five steals.  Chelsey Johnson added 14 points.  Ebony Rowe pulled down 10 rebounds.  Kelly Faris led Heritage Christian with 15 points, seven rebounds, and four steals.  Liz Stratman pulled down 10 rebounds.

Conclusion

Congratulations to Lexington Catholic Coach Jeff Hans for putting together a class field for this well-organized event.   Kentucky and the out-of-state teams split today with each claiming four victories.
