Paris Coach Terence Brooks started the following lineup:  5-8 Sr. Emily Hinkson, 5-7 So. Morgan Crain, 5-7 So. Tori Harris, 5-2 Jr. Alex Rankin, and 5-5 Sr. Talaken Myers.  Henry Clay Coach Scott Cromwell countered with 5-11 Sr. Brittany Coles, 5-8 Jr. Eloise Fourie, 5-9 Sr. Kristin Aweimrin, 5-5 So. Kayla Price, and 5-10 So. Candace Morton. 

Henry Clay captured a hard-fought 52-47 victory over Paris.  Brittany Coles came out on fire in the first quarter, scoring 14 points and leading Henry Clay to a 20-16 lead after the first quarter.  Paris rallied in the second quarter and, led by Emily Hinkson's 17 first half points, held a 30-28 lead at the intermission.

Henry Clay recaptured the lead, taking a 43-37 lead at the end of three quarters.  The Lady Blue Devils got balanced scoring in the quarter and two great defensive blocks by Brittany Coles.  Paris cut the lead to three, 45-42, but could not close the gap. 

Henry Clay shot 41% from the field and 11 of 16 from the free throw line.  Paris shot 32% from the field and 11 of 13 from the free throw line. 

Brittany Coles led Henry Clay with 21 points including three three point baskets.  Coles also pulled down nine rebounds.  Candace Morton and Kayla Price added 10 and eight points respectively.   5-7 Sr. Summer Decker was a spark off the bench, adding six points.  Emily Hinkson was impressive tonight with 27 points including three three point baskets.  Hinkson also pulled down 13 rebounds.  Morgan Crain added nine points.
