St. Catharine Coach Matt Stearsman started the following lineup:  6-7 Jr. Arthur Latham, 6-3 Fr. Brandon Johnson, 6-4 Fr. Daniel O'Dowd, 6-2 Jr. Kevin Owens, and 5-8 Fr. Dustin Warren.  God's Academy Coach Tim Miller countered with 6-8 Sr. Josten Thomas, 6-8 Jr. Titus Rubbles, 6-8 Sr. Richard Armardi, 6-0 So. Deion Houston, and 6-1 Jr. K. C. Ross-Miller

God's Academy outscored St. Catharine 24-12 in the second quarter on their way to a 64-53 victory.  

Titus Rubbles led the victors with 18 points.  Richard Armardi, Josten Thomas, and K. C. Ross-Miller added 12, 10, and 10 points respectively.   Brandon Johnson led St. Catharine with 22 points including five three point baskets.  Arthur Latham added 17 points including four three point baskets.

St. Joseph Central Catholic (Huntington, WV) (7-3) vs. Lexington Catholic (7-7) (Girls)

St. Joseph Coach Shannon Lewis started the following lineup:  5-9 Sr. Jill Pulley, 5-10 Sr. Stephanie Sang, 6-0 So. Sara Sang, 6-3 Jr. Dusti Chapman, and 5-6 So. Kiki Smith.  Lexington Catholic Coach Tony Talbott countered with 5-9 Sr. Shaneque McGhee, 5-8 Sr. Danielle Corbett, 5-11 Jr. Madison Smith, 5-5 Jr. Meghan Cawood, and 5-9 Sr. Maggie Wilson

Lexington Catholic led 57-37 in the third quarter and held off St. Joseph down the stretch to earn a 72-65 victory.   St. Joseph pulled to within three, 68-65, but could not catch the Lady Knights .  

Lexington Catholic shot 36.7% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 22 of 30 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 21 St. Joseph turnovers.  St. Joseph shot 35.7% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Irish connected on 21 of 28 free throws, grabbed 37 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 19 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Maggie Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 20 points.  Danielle Corbett added 17 points including four three point baskets.  Shaneque McGhee chipped in with nine points and 14 rebounds.  5-6 8th grader Oney Harrison and 5-11 Fr. Alex Botkin were very productive off the bench with nine and six points respectively.   Botkin also pulled down seven rebounds.  Sara Sang led St. Joseph with 19 points and 15 rebounds.  Jill Pulley added 17 points, seven rebounds, and five steals.  Dusti Chapman chipped in with 12 points on four three point baskets.  5-8 Jr. Brittany Moore recorded nine points and seven rebounds.

Taylor Barnette.  Corbin Coach Tony Pietrowski countered with 6-3 Sr. Josh Smith, 6-5 Sr. Josh Crawford, 6-4 Jr. Aaron Manns, 5-10 Jr. Isaac Wilson, and 6-4 Jr. Madison Johnson

Lexington Christian Academy led 30-16 early in the third quarter but Corbin rallied for a 61-49 victory.   Corbin outscored LCA 25-5 in the third quarter to take control of the game.  

Corbin shot 41.2% from the field including two of 14 from the three point line.   The Redhounds connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 15 LCA turnovers.   LCA shot 35.8% from the field including three of 20 from beyond the arc.   The Eagles connected on eight of 12 free throws, grabbed 33 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Corbin turnovers.  

Josh Crawford led Corbin with 27 points and 12 rebounds.  Josh Smith added 14 points and seven rebounds.  Madison Johnson chipped in with 10 points.  Will Evans led Lexington Christian Academy with 16 points and seven rebounds.  6-5 Sr. Grant Sparks added 11 points.

Pleasure Ridge Park defeated George Washington by a score of 65-55.   PRP shot 52% from the field including three of nine from the three point line.   The Panthers connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 18 George Washington turnovers.   George Washington shot 41.3% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.   The Patriots connected on 13 of 18 free throws, grabbed 26 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 Pleasure Ridge Park turnovers.  

Brandon Schoenhoff led Pleasure Ridge Park with 23 points and 10 rebounds.  Nathan Johnson added 10 points.  Patrick Yochum and 6-3 Jermaine Lockhart chipped in with nine points each.  Chase Smith led George Washington with 22 points.  Matt Johnson added 11 points.

(Note: 6-3 Sr. Vee Sanford did not play today due to an injury.)   Beech defeated Lexington Catholic 77-68 in overtime.   Beech led Lexington Catholic 57-43 in the final quarter but the Buccaneers rallied to tie the game at 60-60 and force overtime.   Beech outscored Lexington Catholic 17-8 in overtime with Tyler Brown scoring 11 points.  

Beech shot 49.1% from the field including eight of 19 from the three point line.  The Buccaneers connected on 15 of 19 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 27 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 39.3% from the field including 10 of 32 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on 10 of 16 free throws, grabbed 33 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 27 Beech turnovers.

Tyler Brown led Beech with 23 points and eight rebounds.  Matt Cowan added 16 points including four three point baskets.  John Taylor chipped in with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Steven Dorse recorded 13 points including three three point baskets.  Jaylen Beckham led with 21 points and five assists.  Taylor Martin added 17 points and six rebounds.  Scott Schuette chipped in with 12 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  Taylor Botkin recorded 12 points including three three point baskets and added nine steals.

Campbell Memorial held on down the stretch to defeat God's Academy by a score of 75-73.   Campbell Memorial shot 46.8% from the field including 10 of 21 from the three point line.  The Red Devils connected on 21 of 26 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 God's Academy turnovers.  God's Academy shot 43.5% from the field including seven of 32 from beyond the arc.  The Ambassadors connected on six of eight free throws, grabbed 35 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Campbell Memorial turnovers.

6-2 Jr. Nate Hodge led the victors with 27 points including 11 of 14 free throws and six rebounds.  Lester Hughes added 12 points and seven rebounds.  Doriann Jones chipped in with 11 points and eight rebounds.  Germaine Somrajit and Jerah'me Williams recorded 11 and 10 points respectively.   Somrajit and Williams recorded three three point baskets each.  Titus Rubbles and Richard Armardi led God's Academy with 18 points each.  Rubbles also pulled down 11 rebounds.  6-2 Jr. Kevin Smith added 13 points.  K. C. Ross-Miller recorded 12 points, six rebounds, and six assists.
