Lexington Catholic has put together another good field for this tournament.  Seven of the top twenty-five teams in the Lexington Herald-Leader pre-season preview are entered in this tournament.  They are #5 Bowling Green, #6 Warren Central, #10 Lexington Catholic, #14 Paducah Tilghman, #16 Henry Clay, #18 Ballard, and #25 Seneca.

Several of the top players in the state are scheduled to play in this star-studded event.  Five of the top twenty-five players in the Lexington Herald-Leader pre-season preview are featured in this tournament.  The players are #1 Chane Behanan (Bowling Green), #2 George Fant (Warren Central), #7 Timmy Knipp (Elliott County), #15 Jordan Shanklin (Warren Central), and #16 Josh Forrest (Paducah Tilghman).

The Lexington Herald-Leader preview also listed the best players in each region, and the number one player in four of the sixteen regions is scheduled to play in this tournament.  The regionally ranked number one players in this event are (Region 1) Josh Forrest, (Region 4) Chane Behanan, (Region 15) BJ Moore, and (Region 16) Timmy Knipp.

I will attempt to provide a capsule report for each game with expanded coverage given to each game I personally cover.  Spelling of players names varies from program to program and sometimes the heights of the players are not provided so I apologize in advance for any inaccuracies.
