Summary

I will not attempt to discuss the top players at any depth because it will be covered in many stories and blogs by several talent evaluators.  I am still amazed at the quality of this outstanding event.

Some of the top players in the Class of 2012 observed were 6-10 Sr. Andre Drummond (St. Thomas Moore/Middleton, Connecticut), 6-4 Sr. Shabazz Muhammad (Bishop Gorman/Las Vegas, Nevada), 6-1 Sr. Gabe York (Orange Lutheran/Orange, California), 6-8 Sr. Perry Ellis (Wichita Heights/Wichita, Kansas), and 6-7 Sr. Jeremy Hollowell (Lawrence Central, Indianapolis, Indiana).

Several underclassmen impressed including 6-0 Jr. Kasey Hill (Montverde Academy/Eustis, Florida),  6-3 Jr. Anton Gill (Ravenscroft/Raleigh, North Carolina), 6-9 Jr. Derek Willis (Bullitt East/Mt. Washington, Kentucky), 6-0 Jr. Dominique Hawkins (Madison Central/Richmond, Kentucky), 6-5 Jr. Omar Prewitt (Montgomery County/Mt. Sterling, Kentucky), and 6-8 Jr. Malik Price-Martin (Monsignor Edward Pace/Miami Gardens, Florida).  6-3 So. DeAngelo Russell (Central/Louisville, Kentucky) continues to impress as well as several other members of the Louisville Magic team.  Many other players had excellent performances and I just mentioned a few here.  Please check out the various reports on this classic event.
