LaRue County coach Travis Wootton started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Ivy Brown, 5-11 Jr. Alyson Yingling, 6-1 Sr. Allison Evans, 5-6 So. Delany Eastridge, and 5-10 Jr. Alexis Brewer.  Elizabethtown coach Tim Mudd countered with 6-2 Jr. Erin Boley, 5-8 Jr. Darien Huff, 6-2 Sr. Reauna Cleaver, 5-6 So. Rachel Warden, and 5-9 Jr. Livie Bowling.

Elizabethtown raced out to an 18-7 first quarter and was never threatened in a 73-56 victory over LaRue County in a battle between two of the premier teams in the state.  Elizabethtown shot 54.3% from the field including five of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Panthers connected on 18 of 27 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored eight points off 10 LaRue County turnovers.  The Lady Hawks connected on 17 of 25 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 10 Elizabethtown turnovers.

Erin Boley led Elizabethtown with 25 points and 10 rebounds.  Darien Huff added 17 points including four three point baskets.  Reauna Cleaver recorded 14 points and 5-10 Fr. Taylor Thomas chipped in with 10 points.  Livie Bowling pulled down nine rebounds.

Alexis Brewer led LaRue County with 26 points and five rebounds.  Ivy Brown added 20 points and 11 rebounds.
