North Bullitt coach Dave Marion started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Krista Southerland, 5-6 So. Hailey Free, 5-9 Jr. Lauren Deel, 5-5 Sr. Erin Dolan, and 5-5 Sr. Katie Downey.  Christian Academy of Louisville coach Perry White countered with 5-7 Sr. Camryn White, 5-7 Sr. Shelby Calhoun, 5-9 Sr. Emma Bowman, 5-6 Jr. Emma Wesley, and 5-6 Jr. Summer Conti.

 

Christian Academy of Louisville defeated North Bullitt by a score of 68-60.  CAL shot 49.1% from the field including seven of 22 from the three point line.  The Lady Centurions connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 North Bullitt turnovers.  North Bullitt shot 42.6% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 14 CAL turnovers.

 

Shelby Calhoun led CAL with 22 points including three three point baskets, nine rebounds, and five assists.  Emma Wesley added 15 points, four rebounds, and seven assists.  Summer Conti recorded 11 points, four rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

 

Katie Downey led North Bullitt with 14 points and seven rebounds.  Erin Dolan added 14 points, three rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  Lauren Deel recorded 13 points, five rebounds, and three assists.  Hailey Free chipped in with 13 points, six rebounds, and three assists.

Assumption vs. Sacred Heart Academy

 

Assumption coach Amy Siegel started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Kristin Olinick, 5-6 Jr. Jenna Calhoun, 6-0 Jr. Piper Gray, 5-5 Sr. Sabrina Fussenegger, and 5-6 Fr. Ally Willis.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-11 So. Grace Berger, 5-7 So. Kia Sivils, 5-10 Sr. Lydia Taylor, 5-4 Fr. Ashlee Harris, and 5-5 So. Kiki Samsel.

 

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Assumption by a score of 67-37.  Sacred Heart raced out to a 22-4 first quarter lead and was never threatened in this game as they shot a sizzling 58.7% from the field.  The Valkyries was four of 11 from the three point line, connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 18 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 24.5% from the field including one of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored four points off 13 Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Kiki Samsel led Sacred Heart with 17 points including three three point baskets. Ashlee Harris added 14 points and six steals.  Grace Berger recorded 11 points, five rebounds, and five assists.  5-9 So. Cierra Scott chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.  5-9 So. Natalie Fichter added seven points, five rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Mercy Academy trailed 27-25 at halftime but outscored Central 23-10 in the third quarter on their way to a 67-51 victory.  There were seven lead changes and three ties in the game.  Mercy Academy shot 33.8% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 16 of 22 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 26 Central turnovers.  Central shot 38.6% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Jackets connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Mercy Academy turnovers.

 

Jessica Laemmle led Mercy Academy with 15 points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Josie Woods added 14 points and three steals.  Madi Woods recorded nine points and four rebounds. 

 

Stephonie Cole led Central with 12 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Precious Hereford added 11 points and seven rebounds.  5-8 Fr. Darian Neal chipped in with 10 points.

Bullitt East defeated Pleasure Ridge Park by a score of 58-41.  Bullitt East shot 61.1% from the field including one of six from the three point line.  The Lady Chargers connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored six points off 10 Pleasure Ridge Park turnovers.  Pleasure Ridge Park shot 22.6% from the field including one of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Panthers connected on 16 of 29 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 24 Bullitt East turnovers.

 

Kirstie Henn led Bullitt East with 17 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Kathleen Scott added 14 points, six rebounds, and six assists.  Raegan Williams recorded eight points and 12 rebounds.  Abby Rogers chipped in with seven points and eight rebounds.

Mercy Academy defeated Eastern by a score of 68-51.  Mercy Academy shot 39.1% from the field including eight of 19 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 24 of 32 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Eastern turnovers.  Eastern shot 34.6% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 Mercy Academy turnovers.

 

Madi Woods led Mercy Academy with 16 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and four assists.  Josie Woods added 13 points and seven rebounds.  Jessica Laemmle recorded 12 points, five rebounds, six assists, and two steals.  6-2 So. Danielle Feldkamp chipped in with nine points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots.

 

Mikayla Kinnard led Eastern with 18 points. Kinnard was seven of eight from the field including one of one from beyond the arc, and three of five free throws.  Shavia Thompson and Brea Mishler added eight points each.

Male scored 26 points off 21 Bullitt East turnovers and recorded 15 steals and 10 blocked shots in a 65-42 victory.  Male shot 37.7% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 14 of 22 free throws and pulled down 47 rebounds.  Bullitt East shot 27.3% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored eight points off 15 Male turnovers.

 

I’Liyah Green led Male with 15 points, 12 rebounds, seven blocked shots, and four steals.  Emelia Sexton added 14 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and four steals.  Cameron Browning recorded 10 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.  5-11 Jr. Logan Calvert chipped in with nine points and eight rebounds.  Ciaja Harbison added eight points, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

 

Kathleen Scott led Bullitt East with 15 points and five rebounds.  Raegan Williams added seven points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Butler defeated Christian Academy of Louisville by a score of 78-40.  Butler shot 54.1% from the field including four of 16 from the three point line.  The Bearettes connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 16 CAL turnovers.  CAL shot 33.3% from the field including four of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Centurions connected on four of 10 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored eight points off six Butler turnovers.

 

Jaelynn Penn led Butler with 16 points, nine rebounds, and three steals.  5-5 Jr. Teri Goodlett added 14 points and seven rebounds.  6-3 So. Molly Lockhart recorded 11 points and five rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Jana Lewis also scored 11 points.

 

Emma Wesley led CAL with 15 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  Camryn White added nine points and Shelby Calhoun recorded six points and six rebounds.

DuPont Manual defeated Sacred Heart Academy by a score of 56-53.  There were 14 lead changes and nine ties in this game.  Sacred Heart led 32-23 in the first half but Manual closed to within two; 32-30 at halftime.  Manual shot 39.3% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight Sacred Heart turnovers.  Sacred Heart shot 32.7% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on 18 of 21 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored six points off 10 Manual turnovers.

Male pulled away in the second half to defeat Highlands by a score of 59-45.  The score was tied six times and there were six lead changes in the game.  Male shot 43.6% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The lady Bulldogs connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 Highlands turnovers.  Highlands shot 27.8% from the field including four of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Bluebirds connected on 11 of 13 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 12 points off eight Male turnovers.

 

Emelia Sexton led Male with 20 points including four three point baskets.  I’Liyah Green added 20 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.  Ciaja Harbison recorded six points, four rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Mercy Academy scored an impressive 65-53 upset victory over Elizabethtown.  Mercy Academy shot 37% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 25 of 31 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 14 Elizabethtown turnovers.  Elizabethtown shot 34% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Panthers connected on 17 of 21 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 Mercy Academy turnovers.

 

Josie Woods led Mercy Academy with 15 points including three three point baskets and nine rebounds.  Jessica Laemmle added 15 points including three three point baskets.  6-2 So. Danielle Feldkamp recorded 10 points and eight rebounds.  Madi Woods chipped in with 10 points including eight of nine from the free throw line, four rebounds, and three assists.

Mercer County defeated DuPont Manual by a score of 70-67 in overtime.  There were eight lead changes and 11 ties in this game.  Mercer County raced out to a 26-16 after the first quarter but DuPont Manual rallied to tie the game 33-33 at halftime.  Mercer County shot 30.5% from the field including seven of 25 from the three point line.  The Titans connected on 27 of 39 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 21 Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 35.1% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc.  Manual attempted 18 more shots (77-59) from the field than Mercer County.  The Lady Crimsons connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 56 rebounds, and scored 12 points on 19 Mercer County turnovers.

 

Seygan Robbins led Mercer County with 31 points including three three point baskets and 10 of 12 free throws, three rebounds, and three steals.  Lyric Houston added 18 points and eight rebounds.  Emma Souder recorded 13 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Faith Lake and Lexy Lake pulled down 10 and eight rebounds respectively.

 

Jaela Johnson led Manual with 27 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, and four steals.  5-10 So. Aniah Griffin added 15 points and 11 rebounds.  Tonysha Curry recorded 11 points and nine rebounds.  Krystalline McCune pulled down nine rebounds and blocked three shots.  Nila Blackford also pulled down nine rebounds.

Fontasia Jeffries led Butler with 17 points including three three point baskets and four steals.  Jaelynn Penn added 15 points and seven rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Janna Lewis recorded 13 points and 15 rebounds.  6-3 So. Molly Lockhart chipped in with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Butler defeated Mercer County by a score of 63-51.  Butler led 51-30 after three quarters but Mercer County outscored the Bearettes 21-12 in the fourth to narrow the margin.  There were five lead changes and four ties in this game.  Butler had a 19-0 advantage in bench scoring.

 

Butler shot 48% from the field including seven of 12 from the three point line.  The Bearettes connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 17 Mercer County turnovers.  Mercer County shot 35.2% from the field including eight of 27 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Titans connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 20 Butler turnovers.

 

Micaiah Bowden led Butler with 28 points and eight rebounds.  Bowden was 11 of 12 from the field including two of two from beyond the arc, and four of four from the free throw line.  Jaelynn Penn added 10 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  5-8 Jr. Janna Lewis recorded eight points and seven rebounds.  Fontasia Jeffries chipped in with six points, five rebounds, and six assists.

 

Seygan Robbins led Mercer County with 21 points including five three point baskets, three assists, and four steals.  Emma Souder added 16 points, six rebounds, and two steals.  Faith Lake recorded 13 points, six rebounds, and two steals.

Male vs. Mercy Academy (Semifinal)

 

Male coach Champ Ligon Jr. started the following lineup: 6-1 Fr. Cameron Browning, 6-0 Jr. Kyra Hogan, 6-1 Sr. I’Liyah Green, 5-4 So. Ciaja Harbison, and 5-6 So. Emelia Sexton.  Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch countered with 5-9 Fr. Raquael Reese, 5-9 Jr. Josie Woods, 6-0 Jr. Camryn Muss, 5-3 Sr. Jessica Laemmle, and 5-7 Sr. Madi Woods.  

 

Male pulled away in the second half to defeat Mercy Academy by a score of 60-42.  The score was tied five times and there were five lead changes in the game.  Male shot 41.7% from the field including two of seven from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 18 of 24 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 15 Mercy Academy.  Mercy Academy shot 21.8% from the field including six of 31 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored eight points off 16 Male turnovers. 

 

I’Liyah Green led Male with 18 points, eight rebounds, and five blocked shots.  5-11 Jr. Logan Calvert added 16 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Ciaja Harbison recorded 12 points, four rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.

 

Jessica Laemmle led Mercy Academy with 10 points including two three point baskets.  Madi Woods added nine points including two three point baskets.  6-2 So. Danielle Feldkamp recorded five points and eight rebounds.

Jaelynn Penn led Butler with 17 points and five rebounds.  Allison Just added 15 points and nine rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Janna Lewis recorded 14 points including 10 of 12 free throws and 11 rebounds. 

 

Emelia Sexton led Male with 21 points including five three point baskets and three steals.  Ciaja Harbison added 14 points, two assists, and three steals.  I’Liyah Green recorded 12 points, 13 rebounds, and two blocked shots.
