Christian Academy of Louisville coach Perry White started the following lineup: 5-10 Fr. Shelby Calhoun, 5-7 Fr. Mia Beam, 5-10 So. Sarah McDonald, 5-6 Sr. Summer Conti, and 5-7 Sr. Emma Wesley.  North Bullitt coach David Marion countered with 5-9 Sr. Lauren Deel, 5-8 Jr. Sarah Janes, 5-7 So. Katie Milby, 5-5 So. Kaylie Davis, and 5-6 Jr. Hayley Free.

 

Christian Academy of Louisville defeated North Bullitt by a score of 57-45.  CAL shot 42.6% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Centurions connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 21 points off North Bullitt turnovers.  North Bullitt shot 35.3% from the field including five of 23 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored five points off 12 CAL turnovers.

 

Shelby Calhoun led CAL with 16 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and three steals. (Miss Calhoun went over the 1,000 mark in scoring tonight and is now at 1,006 for her career).  Sarah McDonald added 12 points and eight rebounds.  Summer Conti also scored 12 points in this game.  Emma Wesley chipped in with 10 points and four steals.

 

Haley Free led North Bullitt with 17 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  Lauren Deel added 10 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and four blocked shots.  5-8 Jr. Caroline Janes chipped in with eight points.

Raquael Reese led Mercy Academy with 17 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.  Danielle Feldkamp added 14 points and eight rebounds.  Josie Woods recorded nine points, seven rebounds, and three steals.  6-0 Sr. Camryn Muss also scored nine points.

Bullitt East pulled away in the second half to defeat Central by a score of 62-31.  Bullitt East shot 41.7% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Chargers connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 39 points off 28 Central turnovers.  Central shot 27.5% from the field including two of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Jackets connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored six points off 13 Bullitt East turnovers.

 

Kirstie Henn led Bullitt East with 14 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Lindsey Duvall added 10 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  5-4 So. Emmy Ralph recorded 10 points including two three point baskets.

Bullitt East defeated DuPont Manual by a score of 63-54.  This was a game of runs as Manual raced out to a 26-14 lead after the first quarter but Bullitt East stormed back to outscore Manual 23-5 in the second quarter to lead 37-31 at halftime.  Bullitt East shot 43.5% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line.  The Lady Chargers connected on 17 of 21 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 35.3% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 14 of 16 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored eight points off 18 Bullitt East turnovers.

 

Lindsey Duvall led Bullitt East with 33 points including four three point baskets, nine of 12 free throws, 10 rebounds, and four steals.  Kirstie Henn added 10 points and eight rebounds.  Kathleen Scott recorded six points and seven rebounds.

Mercer County utilized their long range shooting prowess to defeat Bullitt East by a score of 73-59.  The score was tied at 31-31 at halftime and there were five lead changes and four ties in this game.  Mercer County shot 46.9% from the field including 10 of 25 from the three point line.  The Titans connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 13 Bullitt East turnovers.  Bullitt East shot 355 from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored four points off 12 Mercer County turnovers.

 

Seygan Robins led Mercer County with 23 points, five rebounds, six assists, and three steals.  Faith Lake added 12 points on four three point baskets, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Lexy Lake also scored 12 points including three three point baskets.  Lyric Houston recorded 11 points and nine rebounds.

Male coach Champ Ligon started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Kyra Hogan, 5-10 Sr. Logan Calvert, 6-1 So. Cameron Browning, 5-6 Jr. Ciaja Harbison, and 5-6 Jr. Emilia Sexton.  Mercer County coach Chris Souder countered with 5-9 Sr. Lyric Houston, 5-9 Jr. Faith Lake, 6-2 Jr. Emma Souder, 5-7 Jr. Lexy Lake, and 5-9 Jr. Seygan Robins

 

Male raced out to a 24-14 first quarter lead on their way to an 81-72 victory over Mercer County.  Male shot 50.7% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 11 points off eight Mercer County turnovers.  Mercer County shot 35.1% from the field including seven of 32 from beyond the arc.  The Titans connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 14 Male turnovers.

 

Cameron Browning led Male with 22 points, six rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Ciaja Harbison added 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists.  Emelia Sexton chipped in with 14 points including two three point baskets and seven assists.  Kyra Hogan recorded 12 points and 14 rebounds.

 

Lyric Houston led Mercer County with 26 points and nine rebounds.  Seygan Robins added 20 points including two three point baskets and five assists.  5-10 Jr. Emma Davis added nine points and seven rebounds.  Lexy Lake also scored nine points on three three point baskets.

Butler controlled the boards and shredded Male’s defense with some deadly outside shooting in a 85-57 victory.  Butler shot 55.4% from the field including 10 of 15 from the three point line.  The Bearettes connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Male turnovers.  Male shot 38.6% from the field including four of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 19 Butler turnovers.

 

Molly Lockhart led Butler with 23 points, eight rebounds, and six blocked shots.  Lockhart was 10 of 14 from the field and three of four from the free throw line.  Teri Goodlett added 21 points on nine of nine from the field including two of two from beyond the arc and one of one from the free throw line.  Jaelynn Penn recorded 11 points including three three point baskets, 12 rebounds, and eight assists.  Breia Torrens chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.  Fontasia Jeffries recorded seven points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.

 

Ciaja Harbison led Male with 22 points and three assists.  5-8 Jr. India Green added 11 points.
