Kentucky coach Joey Thacker started the following lineup: 6-1 Blair Green, 5-11 Grace Berger, 6-2 Emma Souder, 5-8 Mykasa Robinson, and 5-9 Seygan Robins.  Indiana coach Pat McKee countered with 6-2 Emily Kiser, 5-10 Kaitlyn Gilbert, 6-3 MacKenzie Blazek, 5-10 Cassidy Hardin, and 5-10 Amy Dilk.

 

Indiana avenged last night’s loss with an 83-70 victory over Kentucky despite losing Amy Dilk five minutes into the game with an ankle injury.  The score was tied nine times and there were 10 lead changes into the game.  Indiana shot 43.3% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line.  They connected on 18 of 23 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Kentucky turnovers.  Kentucky shot 31.1% from the field including three of 20 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 21 of 25 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 27 Indiana turnovers.

 

Cassidy Hardin led a balanced Indiana scoring attack with 12 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and two steals.  Kaitlyn Gilbert added 12 points, five rebounds, and two steals.  Nia Clark, Tomi Taiwo, and Angel Baker recorded 10 points each.  Emily Kiser chipped in with eight points and 10 rebounds.  MacKenzie Blazek added eight points and eight rebounds.

 

Grace Berger led Kentucky with 18 points including six of six free throws, six rebounds, and two steals.  Lexi Held added 15 points including two three point baskets.  Seygan Robins recorded nine points, three rebounds, and four assists.  Emma Souder chipped in with eight points, 10 rebounds, and two steals.

Kentucky coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-4 Skyelar Potter, 6-4 Trevon Faulkner, 6-8 Mickey Pearson, 6-2 Markello Sullivan, and 6-3 Eric “Boss” Boone.  Indiana coach Jim Shannon countered with 6-5 Aaron Henry, 6-3 Eric Hunter, 6-7 Damezi Anderson, 6-1 Robert Phinisee, and 6-5 Romeo Langford.

 

Indiana came out razor-sharp tonight and led 56-30 at halftime on their way to a 109-81 victory over Kentucky.  Indiana shot 46.7% from the field including six of 26 from the three point line.  They connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 57 rebounds, and scored 34 points off 22 Kentucky turnovers.  Kentucky shot 35.7% from the field including 10 of 40 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Indiana turnovers.

 

Romeo Langford led Indiana with 22 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Aaron Henry added 15 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Mekhi Lairy also scored 15 points and pulled down five rebounds.  Eric Hunter recorded 12 points.  Damezi Anderson chipped in with 10 points and eight rebounds.  Gavin Bizeau added 10 points and nine rebounds.

 

Markello Sullivan led Kentucky with 19 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  MeKell Burries added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Skyelar Potter recorded 12 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Trevon Faulkner added 12 points and 12 rebounds.
