The feature game in this tournament saw two EYBL teams battling for supremacy. Boo Williams claimed the title with a 64-59 victory over Kentucky Premier. Premier took an early nine point lead after the intermission but turnovers proved to be their downfall as Aziaha Williams and Diamond Johnson led Boo Williams with 19 and 11 points respectively. Kentucky Premier was led by Nan Garcia and Maddie Scherr with 19 points each.
I initially followed this event to track the Kentucky teams I am familiar with but became enamored of the coverage and professionalism by USJN and Blue Star Media. I was very impressed with the work expended both in updating results and the monumental task of evaluating each pool to put together this massive amount of players for the all star team. Also, be sure and catch the spot-on evaluations of many of the stars participating in this event. A very professional and informative read by some of the best writers and evaluators in the business.
