Bethlehem coach Jason Clark started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Ella Thompson, 5-8 So. Kasey Spalding, 6-0 Fr. Emma Filiatreau, 5-8 Jr. Amelia Hodges, and 5-8 Sr. Baeli Young.  Berea coach Dammian Stepp countered with 6-0 So. Madison Howell, 5-9 Fr. Chesney Lovins, 6-0 So. Mackenzie Howell, 4-11 So. Isis Rodgers, and 5-8 So. Alexis Newman.

 

Bethlehem dominated play today in a 64-13 victory over Berea.  Bethlehem shot 50% from the field including seven of 14 from the three point line.  The Banshees connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and committed six turnovers.  Berea shot 21.7% from the field including zero of three from beyond the arc.  The Pirates connected on three of nine free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and committed 27 turnovers.

 

Amelia Hodges led Bethlehem with 15 points including two three point baskets and seven assists.  Ella Thompson added 14 points, two assists, and seven steals.  Kasey Spalding recorded nine points.  Baeli Young chipped in with eight points, four rebounds, six assists, and four steals.  5-5 8th Grade Carli Thurmond added eight points and three rebounds, and 5-10 Sr. Mikiah Livers-Bryant pulled down seven rebounds.

 

Chesney Lovins led Berea with five points and Madison Howell pulled down four rebounds.

West Carter led 361-2 at halftime on their way to a 64-40 victory over Lyon County.  West Carter shot 45.8% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.  The Comets connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 33 points off 29 Lyon County turnovers.  Lyon County shot 36.4% from the field including zero of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Lyons connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 West Carter turnovers.

 

Becca Nolen led West Carter with 14 points and two steals.  Allie Stone added 11 points, three rebounds, and four steals.  Kallie Burchett recorded nine points, three rebounds, and four assists.  5-7 Fr. Kandace Chandler chipped in with six points and 5-8 Fr. Katie Chandler also scored six points.

Glasgow defeated Williamsburg by the score of 52-35.  Glasgow shot 55.3% from the field including one of six from the three point line.  The Lady Scotties connected on nine of 23 from the free throw line, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored seven points off 15 Williamsburg turnovers.  Williamsburg shot 17.5% from the field including zero of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Jackets connected on 15 of 17 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 21 Glasgow turnovers.

 

Anzley Adwell led Glasgow with 16 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Kayla Bradley added 14 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Ashanti Gore recorded 13 points, 16 rebounds, and three blocked shots.

 

Lillie Hall led Williamsburg with 19 points including 11 of 11 free throws, four rebounds, and five steals.  Mikkah Siler added eight points, eight rebounds, and five steals.  Madison Chapman recorded six points and 11 rebounds.

Bethlehem led 34-30 after three quarters and pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Danville by the score of 53-36.  Bethlehem shot 37.2% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Banshees connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Danville turnovers.  Danville shot 29.2% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Admirals connected on six of 13 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored six points off 17 Bethlehem turnovers.

 

Amelia Hodges led Bethlehem with 17 points including seven of 10 free throws, three rebounds, and four assists.  Kasey Spalding added 14 points including five of six free throws and four rebounds.  Mikiah Livers-Bryant recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, and two steals.  Ella Thompson chipped in with seven points, 13 rebounds, one blocked shots, and three steals.

Walton-Verona pulled away in the second half to defeat Owensboro Catholic by the score of 6-41.  Walton-Verona shot 41.9% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Bearcats connected on 19 of 23 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 12 points off nine Owensboro Catholic turnovers.  Owensboro Catholic shot 31.3% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Aces connected on four of nine free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Walton-Verona turnovers.

 

Emma Strunk led Walton-Verona with 20 points including nine of nine free throws, 14 rebounds, and three assists.  Haylee Neeley added 17 points including two three point baskets, seven of eight free throws, four rebounds, and three assists.  Maggie Buerger recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Emma Gutman recorded five points, eight rebounds, and two assists.  Addisyn Michael chipped in with five points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Baeli Young led Bethlehem with 15 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and two assists.  Ella Thompson added 12 points, three rebounds, six assists, and three steals.  Amelia Hodges recorded 10 points and three rebounds.  Kasey Spalding chipped in with nine points and three rebounds.  Mikiah Livers-Bryant added four points, seven rebounds, four blocked shots, and two steals.
