Milton (GA) coach Allen Whitehart started the following lineup: 6-5 So. LT Overton, 6-2 Jr. Bruce Thornton, 6-7 Jr. Kendall Campbell, 6-0 So. Kanaan Carlyle, and 6-0 Sr. Broc Bidwell.  Greensboro Day (NC) coach Fred Johnson countered with 6-5 Sr. Tyler Lundblade, 6-5 Jr. Michael Zanoni, 6-10 Jr. CJ Collins, 6-2 Jr. Nikolas Graves, and 6-4 So. Jaydon Young.

 

Milton (GA) defeated Greensboro Day (NC) in overtime by the score of 66-65.  Greensboro Day raced out to a 19-10 lead but Milton scored 10 points to take a 20-19 lead and the game was on.  There were seven ties and 12 lead changes in the game.  Milton shot 41.3% from the field including five of 22 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Greensboro Day turnovers.  Greensboro Day shot 48.8% from the field including eight of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Bengals connected on 15 of 24 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 10 points off seven turnovers.

 

Bruce Thornton led Milton with 32 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, and three assists.  Kanaan Carlyle added 15 points and seven rebounds.  6-3 Jr. Cameron Walker recorded seven points and five rebounds.  LT Overton also scored seven points.  Kendall Campbell pulled down eight rebounds.

 

Jaydon Young led Greensboro Day with 17 points including three three point baskets and four steals.  Michael Zanoni added 17 points including three three point baskets.  Tyler Lundblade recorded 12 points and five rebounds.  CJ Collins added nine points and 12 rebounds.

Taylor Hendricks hit a three point basket to give Calvary Christian a 61-60 victory over Oak Ridge.  The score was tied five times and there were six lead changes in the game.  Calvary Christian shot 42.9% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 Oak Ridge turnovers.  Oak Ridge shot 47.1% from the field including seven of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Pioneers connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Calvary Christian turnovers.

 

Taylor Hendricks led Calvary Christian with 21 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals.  Gregg Glenn added 12 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Carl Cherenfant also reached double figures with 10 points.  Dylan Canoville recorded nine points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Marvel Allen added six points and eight rebounds.

 

Fabio Basili led Oak Ridge with 15 points, four rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Mike James added 13 points and six rebounds.  Jalen Smith recorded 11 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Jermiah Bannister chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.

Archbishop Moeller (OH) defeated Bishop McLaughlin (FL) by the score of 56-50.  Archbishop Moeller shot 48.9% from the field including two of 10 from the three point line.  The Crusaders connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored six points off nine Bishop McLaughlin turnovers.  Bishop McLaughlin shot 41.5% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Hurricanes connected on 23 of 20 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Archbishop Moeller turnovers.

 

Evan Mahaffey led a balance Archbishop Moeller (OH) offense with 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists.  Logan Duncomb added 14 points and 10 rebounds.  Alex Williams recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, and three steals.  Aidan Noyes chipped in with 11 points and six rebounds.

 

Emanuel Sharp led Bishop McLaughlin (FL) with 31 points including two three point baskets, and nine of 10 free throws.  Dillon Mitchell added 10 points.

Canon (NC) outscored Cape Fear Christian (NC) 19-8 in the final quarter to earn a 66-61 victory.  The score was tied eight times and there were nine lead changes in the game.  Canon (NC) shot 39.6% from the field including 11 of 27 from the three point line.  The Cougars connected on 13 of 14 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored five points off six Cape Fear Christian turnovers.  Cape Fear Christian Academy (NC) shot 44.6% from the field including five of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 10 Cannon turnovers.

 

DJ Nix led Cannon (NC) with 31 points including eight three point baskets, eight rebounds, and three assists.  Karon Boyd added 14 points including six of six free throws and pulled down 12 rebounds.  Jarvis Moss recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and five assists.

 

Cinque Lemon led Cape Faer Christian (NC) with 21 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Caden Bell added nine points, six rebounds, and five assists.  6-5 So. Truman Claytor recorded nine points.  Jabare Perry chipped in with eight points and five rebounds.

Oak Ridge (FL) eked out a 54-53 victory over Greensboro Day (NC) to capture third place in the BBC.  The score was tied three times and there were three lead changes in the game.  Oak Ridge shot 41.7% from the field including seven of 23 from the three point line.  The Pioneers connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 17 Greensboro Day turnovers.  Greensboro Day (NC) shot 44.7% from the field including eight of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Bengals connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Oak Ridge turnovers.

 

Jalen Smith led Oak Ridge (FL) with 15 points and four steals.  Mike James added 12 points including two three point baskets and nine rebounds.  Fabio Basili recorded 12 points including two three point baskets.

Bruce Thornton led Milton (GA) with 22 points including 12 of 12 free throws, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  Broc Bidwell added 10 points including two three point baskets.  Kandall Campbell recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and three steals.  LT Overton chipped in with eight points and six rebounds.
